Notes
1) Each number has a corresponding opposite number such that when one is at home the other is away. These are calculated as follows;
as follows:
Example, for a division of 10 teams.
Split the 10 into two halves and write down the numbers 1 to 5 followed by the numbers 6 to 10 in two columns as below
1 - 6
2 - 7
3 - 8
4 - 9
5 - 10
These are the home and away pairings.
2) Every team plays 1 home game and one away game in the first two weeks.
3) No team plays more than 2 consecutive home or away games on the trot.
4) Just reverse all the fixtures to give a second half of the season.
